Welcome to LabVIEW Tutorial

LabVIEW is a product of National Instrument. It stands for Laboratory Virtual Instrument Engineering Workbench. It is a graphical programming language. Its purpose is mainly for data acquisition and instrument control for lab automation.

The latest version of LabVIEW when this tutorial is being constructed is LabVIEW 4.1. But due to lack of resources ( I only have the Student Edition 3.1), if you are not using Version SE3.1 you may find some minor differences between your LabVIEW interface and those in this tutorial.

You may find more about LabVIEW in the net via here

This site however is mainly for showing how to program in LabVIEW from scratch. There is no prerequisite required. The tutorial will guide the users step by step through using animated examples. At the same time users can do hands-on practice by following the animated examples.
